I'm a fan of effervescent tablets. They are easier to drink (for those who doesn't like solid medications like me -- I can't swallow a capsule and I have to break a tablet first!). Also, I feel like a scientist when I'm about to drink one because of its reaction to water. (insert cool emoticon here). My first encounter of effervescent tablets wasn't Berocca but this one actually is just the same and just as good.
Although my first day of drinking it caused headache. Severe headache that I had to ask my sister, who is a nurse abroad, of what I just did. She told me that it isn't because of Berocca but I may be going through some hormonal changes that just coincidentally happened hours after I had some. So, I spent all day in my room and promised not to drink Berocca again.
You know when you have hormonal changes, you become a bitch. So imagine how I loathed this tablet so much that time. When I calmed down and my headache was gone, I told my sister that I won't take it ever. She laughed at me and convinced me to give it another try (because she believed it wasn't because of this tablet). So, I did. It's been weeks now and there are no other bad side effects after I drink it except for getting slightly sleepy that I had to take a cat nap. But overall, nothing bad. I feel energized right after.

Berocca is a vitamin supplement that includes: Vitamin B-Complex, Ascorbic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. Does not contain Sugar, Caffeine or any artificial stimulants. It makes you feel good and energized throughout the day! :)
I recommend a book called Everyday Energy Boosters by Susannah Seton & Sondra Kornblatt. I hope you feel energetic!
ReplyDeleteBerocca always does that to me! The bad side is I always pee. Hahaha!
DeleteI've never given Berocca a go, but maybe, just maybe, after Edward is born, I might have to try it to keep up with the four boys!

I like the taste of it too :D
ReplyDeleteI used to take Berocca daily for an energy boost, not sure why I stopped though. I love watching the bubbles raise. hehe
ReplyDeleteIt does look a little scientific when you put it in water.
